Can I use Lemongrass to remove makeup?
Yes. Lemongrass can be lathered with water and applied directly to skin to dissolve makeup, dirt, debris, dead skin cells, pollutants and impurities.
A couple of easy ways to ensure a thorough removal of face makeup are:
~ double cleansing
~ adequate time and intention massaging the cleanser to allow it to work it’s magic
~ drying skin with a clean face towel to help remove remnants
~ wiping down with our Optimyst Mineralizing Spray on a cotton round to collect any leftover makeup (replaces need for makeup remover and a toner!)
~ use our Mu Juice Emu Oil as a waterproof makeup remover

Can I use Lemongrass if I’m more Sensitive or Reactive?
Yes. We recommend simply starting slow and working your skin up to the gentle exfoliation, much like starting a new workout routine.
Unlike many other acid / anti aging / anti acne cleansers on the market, Lemongrass is formulated with tons of hydrating, protecting, and nourishing ingredients to create balance while we cleanse. We give the skin the support it needs to benefit from the daily, mild exfoliation.
We also left out ingredients that are known to cause skin irritations, pose health risks, throw off our pH, disrupt our delicate microbiome, or strip our skin of its natural oils.
If you’re more sensitive or reactive, introduce Lemongrass a few times per week to start. Then, use our Oatmylk Creamy Cleanser for all other cleansing.
